Report: Trees hanging too low, hard to walk under.

16:18 Jun 24 2019 Near Cherrywood cresent clondalkin

From the roundabout at Old Nangor Road, all the way down Cherrywood Crescent. The trees on the side that runs along Cherrywood Park/ Lawn, are hanging down very low. It is difficult to walk the pathway with the trees the way they are. Especially in the rain when they are wet and you have no choice but to crouch very low to miss the wet leaves.
They need to be cut up to atleast 6.5ft clearing so that taller people can pass under without breaking their back. -- posted via

Thank you for your enquiry. Cherrywood Park/Lawn are not listed on the current 2017-2019 Tree Maintenance Programme. The focus of the Tree Maintenance Programme is on entire roads or whole estates, increasing the efficiency and productivity of tree maintenance. The Senior Executive Parks Superintendent has advised that in advance of any works being carried out, a full survey of all trees in an estate must be undertaken to determine the extent of the requirement for tree maintenance. Arising from the survey, any works considered necessary, will be noted and prioritised accordingly as part of a future Tree Maintenance Programme. Regards, SDCC.
