Report: How many speed ramps are necessary

22:28 Feb 26 2018 Near Millview Road Malahide county Dublin.

Description
On Millview Road , Malahide you have recently "supplemented" the existing three speed ramps with about six more at irregular intervals. There are now nine speed bumps on a stretch of road about a half kilometre long.
This is overkill in a 50 kph zone, did you not think of simply changing the speed signs to 30kph.
Is there a minimum space required between road humps as these are a joke.
Most cars are now cutting through Ard na mara as a result of this measure- is the answer more there, and then all roads in the country till there are no alternative routes.

I really think the overkill should be removed, and appropriate speed signage and enforcement should be used around Malahide. Both my kids go to school late calmly, but I also need to travel about for work. There has to be a balance achieved here of both needs. -- posted via fixyourstreet.ie mobile web
